How are we going to help save the music industry from fraud?

We are here to tackle just that issue. How are we going to do it you may ask? We have come up
with a solution that will help everyone.

We are currently asking bands and musicians to submit their demo's of musical work to us for free
airplay on our web site. We protect the music by an advert that will be played in the  background
of the music itself, in the instrumental sections. This serves four extremely useful purposes.

1 The person who hears the track will only be helping if they make copies for others. You
could say it is like shareware for music itself - so they will more likely want to buy the song
from the source.

2 The advertiser will be endorsing fraud protection while giving an up and coming band
credibility while they seek a deal

3 The artist will be encouraged to hand out the fraud protected music at gigs and send
them to record companies and labels post them on web sites etc, without fear that someone
will start copying the work before they have bought it.

4 Getting the sponsors details across will also help encourage good business to business
between record companies artists and Internet providers as one endorses the other - thus
better bands breaking into the music industry, and not simply on a whim of a single A&R man.

A good example of how this might work is as follows:

The artist sends in the music to publishers or record companies. A  sponsor will not put his
business name to something not very good - after all the company want a return, a mention in
lets say the artists official biography circulated to millions maybe? So the record company will
more likely contact the artist and the sponsor on these issues alone.

Building on a reputation..

We have more FREE services than any other music web site - for example a global venue finder
and submission section, music discussion sections, news, major industry contacts, artist
wanted / available sections, music creation software, samples and loops, music theory, simply
too much to mention - all this plus the music available to be heard on the site.
